The challenge
As the UAE goes cashless, service workers lose tips. Akrem’s founders needed a prototype that proved the model to investors and venues: a fast, secure way to tip by scanning a QR code, with no cash and no friction.
Our approach
We worked through the business model with the founders, designed a three-step tipping flow (scan, choose amount, pay), built the mobile app prototype and launched an English/Arabic website for tippers and partner businesses — delivered on schedule.
